How do I confirm registration?
What are the age requirements?

You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the Half Marathon or 5K + 10K Challenge and at least 8 years old to participant in the 5K or 10K.

What are the course time limits?

Half Marathon = 3 hrs 30 minutes (16:00 min per mile) – Must maintain this pace or will be subject to being removed from course or asked to continue on the sidewalk or trail.

10K = 2 hrs (19:19 min per mile) Walker Friendly

5K = (19:19 min per mile) – Walker Friendly

Can a friend pick up my packet?

A friend can pick up your packet. Anyone can pickup a total of two (2) packets at a time with a copy of the participants photo ID. This can be a text message picture of the ID or an email confirmation. If you would like to pickup more than 2 packets, you must start with 2, then go to the back of the line (if there is a line) and get 2 more.

What are the Race Rules?
Where do I get my Challenge Medal?

Once you complete the final race in your challenge, please visit the registration tent for your challenge medal. 

What is gear check?

Before you run, drop-off your pre-race/post-race clothing and belongings at the Gear Check. While you run, your gear will be held at Gear Check. Please note: DO NOT leave valuables, cash or jewelry in your gear bag. The event is not responsible for any lost items. Gear bags must be claimed before 12:00 pm on race day.

Where do I wear my race Bib (number) to ensure photos?

Please wear your bib on the front and center of your shirt or outermost layer. This will make it visible for course photographers so that you can take advantage of the free race photos. It will also help the timing mats properly read your timing chip.

How do I volunteer?

If you have lost or found something, please visit our awards stage or registration tent.

What awards are offered?

Overall, Masters, Grand Masters and Age Group awards are given for each distance. We will announce on race morning estimated times for the award announcements.

Sorry about that! Please contact us here with the problem and we will try our best to help.

What do we get to enjoy post race?

Runners get to enjoy a fun post race party including food & drink! Your friends & family are welcome to join, but the race food & beverage are only for registered runners.

Where can I find my race photos?

With each BDR, you get free race photos! Make sure your bib is pinned to the front of your shirt, keep an eye out for the photographers and smile.

Can I change my race distance?

You can change your race distance, to a shorter distance or a longer distance. Use the link below (“Transfer to Another Event”), you will need to pay the difference if there is an increase; but our race fees are non-refundable so there are no refunds.

Do you have on course support?

Yes. Each distance has aid stations.

Does BDR offer pacers?

What is a pacer? A pacer is a runner who helps you finish a race in a specific time. Our pacers typically work with groups who are going after similar time goals. 

At BDR, we offer pacers (in the Half Marathon) so that you can reach your goal if you have a specific finish time. The pacers are local runners who can maintain a specific pace for the half marathon. We only have pacers for our half marathon distance.

Can I bring my child in a stroller?

You are more than welcome to run with your jogging stroller. We do ask, that if possible, to start in the back for the safety of other runners, and for you & your mini-me!

Can I run with my dog?

Can I defer my registration?

Up until a specific date, you can defer your race to the following year. Click here for details.

Can I transfer my registration?

If you would like to transfer your race registration to someone else, that is an option. You can do this for FREE up until 2 weeks out from the race date; check the link below for the exact dates and how to process the transfer.

What is the Finish Line Post Race Party?

The Finish Line Post Race Party is the celebration of your achievement(s)! Athletes can enjoy food and drinks. On Saturday and Sunday vendors will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and much more.

What if there is bad weather?

The expo and race will go on with rain or wind. In the event there is lightning, there could be a delay, course distance change, or cancellation. Please always check your email box for race morning changes or our Facebook page for updates.

Where is your Medical Support ⚕️?

All finish lines will have medical support, as well as mobile EMS units patrolling the course during the race. In addition, each aid station will have basic medical supplies, i.e. bandaids, Vaseline, etc.

Where can I get my Finisher Certificate?

Congrats on your finish!

If you would like your Finisher Certificate, you can obtain that from RunSignUp.com. Your profile MUST be public for you to review it and print/share if you would like.

What if I think my finish time is off?

If you think your finish time is off, please contact us.

Can my friends & family join me after the race?
